Artificial blood instead of blood donations. In Spain, donating your blood is seen as a good will act and you walk away with nothing. I regularly see the blood donation vans stationed in hotspots. Supply seems to be an issue. In Switzerland, at least in the 80s, you got paid for your blood. Of course this comes with its own issues, as everyone in crypto can tell you. https://www.newsweek.com/artificial-blood-japan-all-blood-types-2079654

In the US, blood is an act of good will and there is no compensation. I have known some who really enjoy donating. I know PLASMA you get paid for after your first one. And you can donate A LOT like more than once a week. You can get like up to $1000 a month. You get bonuses for donating consistently within a month.
