the barista express, I really want one with the grinder + frother all in one machine any suggestions?

I think the next level up has a separate boiler for steaming and espresso; so theoretically better for frothing milk as you're not dependent on the boiler coming back up to temp after pulling your shot. The built in grinder is nice, but typically better to upgrade grinders to enhance your experience. Learned all this from @soinclined (She might not get notifications here just fyi)

yesss highly recommend getting an older refurbished model with a pressure gauge and then getting an baratza sette on top -- way better longterm and baratza makes it so easy to repair/clean/replace burrs so that the grinder will never be the weakest link

you + my other coffee aficionado friends have all recommended separate machinesβ¦ I may have to rethink the counter space Iβm dedicating, or figure out a little raised shelf setup hmm
