Intensifying physical effects will exacerbate geopolitical flashpoints, particularly after 2030, and key countries and regions will face increasing risks of instability and need for humanitarian assistance.” 👀

Like it or not, the US needs to prepare for climate refugees fleeing extreme weather.

Addressing climate change is the rational thing to do that would generate domestic economic activity.

For starters, green energy jobs. Home insulation programs could create jobs and save fuel in the winter. We can have cleaner forms of domestic steel production.

The goal should be to find ways to expand our economy to benefit from the new labor, not close the border and hope to shut out the world to conserve limited 20th century vocations.
