2/ Rollups post data to the calldata of their L1 SC to prevent invalid state transitions through fraud/zk proofs and to ensure data access if servers go offline, enabling inclusion proofs to withdrawal funds

Vitalik said something like the most noticeable UX change from the Merge was more consistent block finality times. The most significant economic change of course was cutting the energy cost of the network
