Not trying to be a debbie downer, but if we actually want to move the needle, we need to focus on where crypto solves real problems. You could get every shop in southern France to accept stablecoins, and it wouldn’t change anything, rich people there will still use credit cards because they offer a better experience - rewards, credit, chargebacks But in places like eurasia and latam, people are already using stablecoins because their local financial systems don’t work. The problem is they’re using USDT on Tron. That’s where the real opportunity is and where the competition actually matters

no idea how tron x usdt is dominant when the gas fees are orders of magnitude above everyone else, can it be as simple as user education? https://gasfeesnow.com/

Meh I think you're being short-sighted. There's no reason crypto payment UX can't surpass the credit card experience. Credit, Purchase rewards, and purchase protection are all things that are in reach via crypto payment rails, and we can do them better and more efficiently since middlemen can be automates out of the equation. just because we haven't seen them yet doesn't mean they aren't coming

Here around South East Asia and China we mostly use QR payment system which the US is very against because it is not dependant on SWIFT and has tried to force some countries to stop using it during the tariffs negotiations.
