Freedom Flotilla is now 24 hours away from Gaza. Full media blackout, despite Euro Parliament's Rima Hassan and activist Greta Thunberg onboard. They risk death to feed ppl starving in Israel's blockade.

In 2010, Israel raided a Gaza food aid flotilla and killed 10 American and Turkish passengers.

It was a huge scandal in Europe & UK, and afaik one of the things that broke Turkish-Israeli relationship which isn't repaired ever since. I haven't heard it being reported much in US media, despite the murdered American citizen.

To say what Thunberg is doing is courageous is an understatement. What she's doing is akin to Gandhi's hunger strikes.

Greta Thunberg is a modern hero and none of her incel critics will ever live up to her spirit.
