In 2010, Israel raided a Gaza food aid flotilla and killed 10 American and Turkish passengers. It was a huge scandal in Europe & UK, and afaik one of the things that broke Turkish-Israeli relationship which isn't repaired ever since. I haven't heard it being reported much in US media, despite the murdered American citizen. To say what Thunberg is doing is courageous is an understatement. What she's doing is akin to Gandhi's hunger strikes. Greta Thunberg is a modern hero and none of her incel critics will ever live up to her spirit.
