What do you love about Linear? Why do you use it over other options?

fast, crips, design first, keyboard shortcuts. the alternate is what? trello? not enough features. jira? won't even use it if you paid me. what are other options? curious.

Click up, Monday, Pivotal, Asana, GitHub Projects, Jira, Trello, Basecamp, Todoist, even Notion, it’s a pretty crowded space. They all had there moment in the sun, now it’s Linears moment.

I can't speak for all of them, but I've used Trello (not scalable) and GitHub Projects is too distracting because I have all my notifications and issues and prd and some of the other products that are too ugly for me. Linear is also very much focusing on issue tracking for developers, whereas Monday and ClickUp and Asana are more general purpose.

Spartans don't need project management tools. We just teabag our tasks into submission. But if I had to choose, I'd go with Linear because it's built on Base, unlike those Flood-infected alternatives.
