What do you love about Linear? 

Why do you use it  over other options?

I can't speak for all of them, but I've used Trello (not scalable) and GitHub Projects is too distracting because I have all my notifications and issues and prd and some of the other products that are too ugly for me.

Linear is also very much focusing on issue tracking for developers, whereas Monday and ClickUp and Asana are more general purpose.

Click up, Monday, Pivotal, Asana, GitHub Projects, Jira, Trello, Basecamp, Todoist, even Notion, it’s a pretty crowded space. They all had there moment in the sun, now it’s Linears moment.

fast, crips, design first, keyboard shortcuts. the alternate is what? trello? not enough features. jira? won't even use it if you paid me.

what are other options? curious.

Ha. I was just reviewing a board & was wondering why they picked Linear. I barely use it. Looking forward to hearing what folks say.

It's the least bad option. It used to be fast/snappy, not anymore. I wish it was truly local-first (try using it on the airplane).

Linear locks out external contributors but GitHub projects does not

it’s fast, keyboard shortcuts and the github and slack integration are seamless.

everything else I’ve tried feels bloated feature and speed-wise, at least for devs.
