100%. I do think most messages don't need to be responded to immediately, even when they feel like they do but also its hard to work on one dedicated thing for 3 hours if you are not in a culture that values that.

i try to do two 4-hour blocks of deep work everyday. phones stowed away. only tools (and spotify) opened on laptop.
