This is a good intellectually honest articulation of why the FC "pivot" makes a lot of sense
Fwiw, tldr is "come for the tool (wallet, trading), stay for the (social) network"
Agree this is promising and interesting, and we should all be optimistic about the strategy, even if we have reservations on how it feels sometimes

One thing I will say I learned from building products that were beloved by consumers/community (Vimeo in particular)
Users aren't always good at prescribing exactly WHAT they need, but the product team/community team listening to and validating WHY they think ...
sad to see people I respect being impacted by situations that were largely avoidable. mistakes happen โ what matters is how theyโre handled.
evidently, there are multiple areas where merkle could benefit from serious reflection if they value the community theyโve built so far. to name a few:
