The Robinhood x Arbitrum announcement should be noted as the perfect example of why CT is the dumbest fucking environment for getting consensus on reality. If you were to believe the "consensus of CT" over the last two years: Arbitrum was dead, a ghost chain. This announcement demonstrated the gulf of a divide between CT perception and objective reality.

1.) I don't think I could name another L2 built using the Arbitrum stack, but that doesn't mean it's dead. Still lots of TVL there. 2.) I am curious to see how the price action works when stocks are tradeable 24/7 3.) This tokenized prove equity stuff is very intriguing. Is that sort of thing even available before now? 4.) I hope Robinhood names their L2 "Friar Tuck" or "Little John"

Arb is the best option for them because they can’t use Base and OP takes 15% cut. Incumbents need to own their stack. Doesn’t make arb good, but I dunno what else they would have gone with.

never seen this opinion before. i have seen people sharing that 70% of the USDC tvl on arbitrum is utilized on hyperliquid. pretty good model for robinhood

There are tens of dead Layer 2s. Arbitrum isn’t one of them. Swell chain is dead as hell. No announcements. Idk if I have seen a single post that said Arbitrum was dead. Maybe in respect to Solana when Solana was winning vs ether. But never dead
