i got 3 tips! 1. get a detangling brush. 2. start at the bottom, holding a few inches at a time and work up. helps keep it from pulling her scalp. 3. detangling spray. when it's really bad, mist some of that on; it really works. i brushed my daughters hair every night when she was younger, you got this.

I gotchu! So start at the bottom of her hair near the ends and slowly comb it out. If it's long, grab it like you're gonna make a pony tail and comb it out from there. If it's short, press her hair into her head with one hand and comb beneath it. Comb from bottom to top of head always, so much less painful! ❤️

Hold the hair tightly near roots and brush while doing that, they won’t feel a thing! Once knots are gone, should be sweet!!!

The one thing I’ve found that works better than anything is having my wife brush my daughter’s hair instead 😂

Mine is only 2 so I brush it during the bath with conditioner! She's got pretty long hair but this works like a charm.

I have long hair. I'd say start in small segments, when you find a knot, hold the hair above the brush so that when you try to brush the knot out she doesn't feel the yanking and pulling.

Definitely try sections from the bottom and a detangler spray or a little bit of leave in conditioner. Also consider braiding it at night so it’s not tangled up in the morning and has a fun waviness to it.
