yes!! it's one of the most beautiful rides i ever took! you pass several climate zones: from subtropical kyushu to honshu's rice fields and misty hills, then tohoku's forests to hokkaido's cool coastal air... a glimpse of all of japan's moods in one ride. highly recommend ✨

yes, by train! 10 hour high speed train ride across the country with many beautiful views along the way. very smooth, i actually feel relaxed
