From the conversation I had with Dan it seems he’s thinking of entirely new models for discovery on Farcaster. Not your typical social algo. 

Topics would be a funnel for conversations happening in realtime to engage with subgroups. The hard part imo is how we’d create communities from that. Again, I think Dan and the team are thinking deeply about this to present the best and most innovative solution.

My workflow is see a YouTube video, pump it straight into NotebookLM and get the summaries I need. And just have conversations with the video - much faster than watching the whole 3h stream.

Let’s say I wanted digest a topic. Let’s say I want to learn more about backend frameworks and deep dive that topic, how would you approach that with the help of NotebookLM?

So far if it’s just one or two sources, I go for the q&a format. If I’m on the run, I will ask for a podcast. But this is a rare use case, since I have a lot of actual podcasts I’d like to listen to. 

My eventual plan is probably just to feed podcasts into NotebookLM and save the time by skipping the banter. I just want a detailed tl;dr

Ngl I’ve been slow to adopt notebooklm. Do you use it to ask questions more or to have it produce the podcast of things?

i thought it was a bug on my end that i could only post one picture with a quote cast but it seems that’s how the protocol is set
