Not presently, no. The forthcoming DEGEN farcaster client might convince me otherwise but, as of this moment, I prefer tipping with actual money in real time. Airdrop 2 distribution comes with ethical baggage I don’t have bandwidth for. Just take my money 🤭

In the Degen app, you’ll be able to tip with real money directly—no more convoluted tip allowance system. We’re simplifying it so you can just tap, tip, and move on.

so how would you get an allowance? are you getting rid of earned allowance and everyone has to tip from their ‘real’ money?

not sure yet but probably—at this point we’ve given out hundreds of millions in $DEGEN, so time to explore more sustainable tipping. might still keep some rewards for top contributors tho. we’ll see 👀

Fair enough. Valid concern. Thx. So, between now and end of summer--or when client is released, tipping allowances stay the same? Then all options open for future?
