Dodging the stinging nettles. @plantsnft blew my mind when he came for a walk, got stung, and told me you don’t have them in USA. They’re part of the fabric of a well rounded UK childhood 😂 I don’t like to cut them down anymore because they’re great for butterflies.

We have them in the US but I didn’t know about it til I moved from south FL to Orlando and encountered them in my yard. Supposedly there’s lots medicinal uses but I can’t get past the thought of the sting, OUCH 😅 didn’t know it’s a host plant though, thanks for sharing!

I removed this memory Horrible devils Whyyyyyy are these a thing. I blame you nature. I gotta imagine they sting the butterflies too!
