Every year I’ve lived in Los Angeles, I’ve heard fireworks the entire week leading up to July 4, and several days after.

This year was eerily silent until last night. My guess is it’s because the people who light most of the fireworks are immigrant families. 🙁

i thought the ending would be that since LA almost burnt down a few months ago maybe LA residents would’ve grown some consciousness on the perils of fireworks
