Gauging opinions - what is the lowest $ threshold per claim you would be happy with for the airdrop offers? 

Standard budget from teams is $10K -> 1.5K-2K users. Right now the amounts are often $5-7 which feels like a sweet spot in balance but open to feedback. The lower the amount the more users can be included

I’m always happy to make a dollar free, but tbh I think most teams are wasting their money doing this and I imagine most data would back that up when looking at longer term token performance and mindshare analytics 

If the token generation event has already occurred then that 10k can probably be spent elsewhere

Teams should be encouraged to use airdrops as a token generation event - the best advertising for any project is making users rich

There’s a reason Degen brought so many people here - people heard we were tipping out mortgages 

Getting 7 dollars doesn’t have the same pull

Yup and agree, I think generally using the airdrop feature is a great idea but it shouldn't always be the case -- tends to be overused and unoriginal

need to be more creative on this part

And also a 10x is considered good returns 

A 10x on 7 dollars is… 70 bucks 

It’s not even about being entitled like people want to claim, the reality is that this just doesn’t move the needle for most 

It’s a “oh cool” and then moving on

The probability of a 7$ airdrop thats already launched doing a 10-100x is also statistically low

Disagree on the premise that $10k doesn't move the needle, have had positive feedback from teams we've worked with on it. It's just another marketing tool

Yeah I hear you, I just don’t think 10k moves the needle in crypto unfortunately 

It’s one thing to allocate a nebulous amount of tokens to marketing pre TGE, but I think it’s a different thing when that token has already been around a while and then teams start “advertising”

I tend to agree but lots of tokens have promo/marketing/etc stuff built into the allocation budget, and this is a better use of it than many other options

Exactly I came to warpcast because I heard about Degen and the obscene free money being thrown around, sadly I was too late to enjoy the peak of craziness and instead ended up with the scraps 😂  Should have moved over sooner than end of March last year.
