I think what Farcaster wants to do with Clanker is to turn it into a $1B coin and make Farcaster users rich. Farcaster becomes more focused on trading (farcaster pro, token alerts, ui changes) and there's no better advertisement for traders than "people who used this app got rich".

Good point - I was thinking that it’s a nice way to “not have a FC coin” while having a coin 😀
