Likely getting $125 in leaderboard rewards this week, and I want to pay it forward to supporting creators. I noticed many videos here don’t have captions. It’s a small edit that makes a big difference for viewers. Captioning apps on mobile are convenient, but they aren’t free. So I’m thinking I’d like to sponsor a few creators’ caption app subscriptions. Two questions: - What are the best mobile apps for captions you’re using? - What’s a fair way to pick who gets it? (I’m thinking: people who’ve already casted at least one video for Farcaster that isn’t recycled from existing social media, with demonstrated intent to create more.)

Love this idea! I've only used CapCut and Canva. I find Canva kind of difficult to work with for video (but maybe I'm just not practiced enough). Also heard good things about Captions.ai!

Thanks Bert! I also find Canva kind of difficult. It can get the job done, but I wouldn’t recommend to others unless they already have/want a subscription for their other design tools. I tried Captions.ai recently on mobile to make the captions for a video I shared in /books. It worked great and the captions seemed more accurate than Canva’s. I’m hoping to find alternatives to CapCut but it’s proving difficult. No one seems to be competitive with their all-in-one mobile editor.
