I haven't! I think we're technically not supposed to because it could strain our backs. I have a sling back I sometimes hitch a ride in. There is a famous wiener and his human (a pro cyclist) who are know for riding with Willie in a backpack, but I wonder if it's ok because he's mostly horizontal!

I wasn't criticizing!!! Cloy looks perfectly comfy!!! I meant specifically for dachshunds, since we have such long backs we get a lot of back problems which is why we aren't supposed to do stairs or be held without proper rear end support!!!

very true about support. the backpack i use has a detachable pouch that can store items. it double acts as a support for cloy’s back! i make sure to tighten enough so she has support + not feel uncomfortable but still in early stages of trying it out :)
