instead of merkle doing big brain work alone to figure out who’s spammy and who’s not, maybe the number of people that mute a user should also aid in the decision of whether an account is marked spammy or not.

I would guess who gets reported as spammy would be the place they look. Bc muted means it wasn’t bad enough to unfollow/block. Lol

That was my favorite notification back in the day.

i always wonder how much our spam reports really help or are they at all haha. i’ve used it a lot and sometimes i used to get the little notification saying “thanks for reporting 138 casts blah blah”. made me feel like i had a part time job at merkle. 🥰
