We all knew the Rewards Leaderboard would drive behavior changes. It’s nice to see the data support that theory. I think this means it’s a good time to be a genuine and authentic reply guy. When engagement on most posts goes down, good comments will shine through the noise.

I think it would be nice if the rewards structure incentivized prosocial behavior instead of indirectly punishing it. Otherwise, the valiant fight against the unfortunate changes induced by that very reward system may take some time...

I think the good news is that good replies can get noticed. They help with connection. Connection drives your rank on all the algorithms. It’s slow and not easily noticeable but it matters!
