Interesting topic. The older you get, the more and more you think about it .... So, when you die, don't worry about your body ... Your relatives will do everything you need to do:
- They'll take off your clothes;
- They'll wash you;
- They'll dress you;
- They'll take you out of the house and deliver you to your new address. Your clothes that you wore will be given away, or sold, or donated, or burned. Your keys, your tools, your books, your games, your collections, your all belongings will belong to other people already. You will be replaced at work. Someone with the same or even better abilities will take your place. Your estate will go to your heirs. Your good friends will cry for a few hours or a few days, but then they will laugh again. Your pets will get used to their new owner. Your pictures will hang on the wall for a while, then they'll be put on furniture and stored in a drawer somewhere. Someone else will sit on your couch and watch TV, someone else will sit at your desk and eat at it.
The deep pain in your home will last a week, two, one month, or two, one year, or two .... Then you will join the memories, and then your story will end. It will end among people, it will end here, it will end in this world, but your story begins in a new reality ... in your afterlife.
Your earthly life, where you were able to move your body, where you gave meaning to the things you had here, will now lose meaning or significance.
In your new life, you will only need your Soul. The only property you will have is your Soul.
So try to live fully and be happy while you are here, because as Francis of Assisi said:
"You will not take from here what you have. You will only take what you have given"!
It's sad, but it's an inevitability that no one can avoid. That's just the way life is. And what happens next, we'll have to find out for ourselves. No one can tell us that. 0 reply
