Iran is like Russia. I’ve read of so many attempts toward each nation. Romans really tried. So did Alexander the Great. Iran is had to acquire let alone hold. Napoleon attempted Russia. So did Germany, most notably in the Second World War. Some nations are unconquerable. Make peace. It’s just a little yellow cake.

The only difference is Iran has not attempted to expand its borders for 600 years. By any definition of the word, Iran is the least imperial country in the world.
