Rome was found 21 April 753 BC & fell in 1453 AD when the gates of Constantinople fell. We’d be so lucky to last half that long.

I was thinking more of when it became an empire and when the western Roman Empire collapsed because there are so many parallels between it and the USA. When western Rome fell, the dark ages began - let’s hope something better happens the next time around. 😬
