Yes and I think our generation know it but it’s difficult on the younger generation.

We’ve always read stories to our kids, done crafts, drawings, my 8-year-old reads 250page books with no pictures 🤯 No tablet, no phone (I just show him a few things sometimes, and he opens Pokémon cards it lasts 10 minutes). I think we can guide them. I hope he keeps reading and creating. Though, to be honest, his room is a total disaster scissors, string, Legos, papers, cards, books… and a random pair of 🩲 lying around 😆

Same for us , but I think again our generation knows the damages screen can produce and therefore make sure our children can deal with it better ! Which book is he reading ? My oldest 7 is at the third Harry Potter book ( better than me 😅😅😅)

Yeah, you’re right. I think our generation didn’t really suffer from that kind of damage. The new generation , those in their 20s and 30s are right in the thick of it. And with our kids, we can already see the effects, so we can actually put things in place to prevent it. As for books, here’s a little photo of the ones for his age , he hasn’t read volume 3 yet, those books are crazy expensive 😅, especially with all the illustrations and fold-out pages.
