agree with this either they move everything onchain properly and secure laws into smart contracts or no one is going to buy it as it’s just weird, everyone who could already did it with their broker or has one on the phone book maybe everyone will move once volumes going to be significant off hours giving advantage

remember how quickly things got out of control in 2020 even though back then all we had were stablecoins and small cap shitcoins yield farming ponzis now rerun the same playbook but with real world meaningful collateral in the background gradually repackage it into more and more risky versions

Eh, it's different since you'll have stock coins which trade 24/7 (with DeFi leverage) affect actual stock prices that trade 6.5/5. Also there are no circuit breakers onchain.

Tokenized stocks are a compliance-friendly bridge, not a breakthrough. They map legacy assets onto new rails, but don’t leverage crypto’s native composability, programmability, or permissionless innovation. The real unlock comes when entirely new primitives emerge, built for the medium, not ported to it.
