Do you appreciate receiving refunds when a @crowdfund fails to meet funding target? 
Are you more willing to toss a donation in because you know you’ll be refunded if it fails?

most of the crowdfunds I have been for some kind of support in which case I would rather have the recipient get my donation. 

If it is more for a product dev or event etc. a kickstarter kind of thing then maybe would prefer the refund approach where a partial raise doesn’t help
