Farcaster team is executing really well on airdrops front, enabling smooth UX, discoverability, etc. 

No question this is a really valuable place to be engaging/airdropping early users. 

That said, crypto teams airdropping here need to do a lot more to clearly communicate the value of their projects to users here…

Totally agree. It’s like “here is our airdrop. Mint an nft with it!” (At best)

I realize it is easy to pick on this stuff but just underscores the “we don’t need more infrastructure/layer2s” narrative 

If the objective is to target builders, then communicating why something is useful to builders is also important (that’s not happening either)

Counter example is base, who is engaging here all the time and people are building on it (and yet, no airdrop!)
