The best health improvements I’ve made in the past year or so: - pilates 2x a week (by far #1) - eat a small breakfast every morning (stimulates appetite) - ground / walk as close to barefoot as possible on earth - sleep 9+ hours (hard to do but changes the game) - eat veggies grown in the backyard - sleep on a buckwheat pillow

I assume for 9+ hours of sleep hardest is going to sleep on time? would love to learn more about the time management /scheduling going into it or if you're just like yeah no sleep -> wakeup figure it out while awake

I’m not good at it, I usually get 7-8 on weeknights and then one or two days of 9+ on the weekends The #1 thing is to be in bed before 11p, but I struggle to be disciplined about it — cutting out caffeine earlier in the day and also not ruminating too much helps

Caffeine has a crazy half-life, I've noticed that if I have much after about 12:00 p.m. it affects my sleep pretty dramatically even though the cognitive effects of the caffeine are barely noticeable
