Hey, I’m Andrea 👋 I’ve been working in web3 for a few years, mostly around events and communities. I help strategise and produce gatherings of all kinds: from large conferences to more intimate formats where ideas and people can meet and connect. Somewhere along the way, I started asking myself why so many smart people were repeating patterns that drained them. I’ve always been curious about how we function (my background is in psychology) and a few years ago I came across human design. What started as an experiment turned into one of the most practical tools I’ve found for understanding how we make decisions, manage energy and stay aligned with what actually works for us. It’s also a great way to ask ourselves questions about who we are and how we operate. Happy to connect with you all!

Each person repeats draining patterns for different reasons, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. But I can share what I believe it can be a general frame for it

1. Myth of “Normal” We live in a world that assumes a “baseline” of how people should behave, produce and relate. - People feel “off” or “strange” if they don’t match this invisible standard. - They start adapting instead of listening to themselves. - Even high performers question their worth if they don’t feel like fitting.

Conditioning and Identity From early on, we’re told who to be, how to succeed, and what matters. - People over-identify with traits like logic, output, perfectionism. - They suppress parts that feel “too sensitive,” “too much,” or “not useful.” - Eventually, this dissonance leads to confusion or burnout.
