I wrote this piece as a way into a question I keep circling: what does it mean to work as ourselves, not as patterns society hands us?

Hey, I’m Andrea 👋
I’ve been working in web3 for a few years, mostly around events and communities.
I help strategise and produce gatherings of all kinds: from large conferences to more intimate formats where ideas and people can meet and connect.
Somewhere along the way, I started asking myself why so many smart people were repeating patterns that drained them.
I’ve always been curious about how we function (my background is in psychology) and a few years ago I came across human design.
What started as an experiment turned into one of the most practical tools I’ve found for understanding how we make decisions, manage energy and stay aligned with what actually works for us. It’s also a great way to ask ourselves questions about who we are and how we operate.
Happy to connect with you all!

I’m a Manifesting Generator.
I dont follow a linear path.
I move quickly, change direction when something stops feeling right and often find shortcuts.
For a while, I thought that made me inconsistent.
But I’m built to pivot, to respond, and let my gut lead once I have emotional clarity.
Not my mind (but honestly, that’s true for most of us, even if it’s hard).
I don’t need it all to make sense.
I just need to stay close to what feels alive.
When something sparks energy, that’s the signal to go.
