after some time away enjoying parenthood, i'm ready to be more online again. missed a lot of the changes here but happy to see @neynar (@rish) moving forward with farcaster and I'm sure @dwr and @v will have a lot to contribute to tempo. looking back, I've invested quite a bit of time trying to build saas-like products here on farcaster but I won't be doing it anymore. here's a couple of things changing: - deprecating @deescuss at the end of July - @fiids and @bondes have a handful of consistent active users (including myself) that I don't want to let down. I'll be evaluating how to maintain the projects financially (~$800 per year) until the end of July and if there's a solution I'm happy to keep supporting and running them. if not, I'll be deprecating them as well at that time. do reach out if you want to help supporting them. moving forward I'm launching boring b2b businesses that I love outside of farcaster and social products for fun here (including a complete rebuild of @wyat). ps. this sounds like a tedious announcement that no one will read but it also provides closure and a new beginning. announcements done and on to the fun stuff, have a wonderful weekend 🌞

I’ve been away from farcaster (and honestly the internet) for quite a while because life has changed. As some of you know, me and @ivyclark were expecting twins and the due date was mid September. However, they decided to come earlier with only 28 weeks after a long period of hospitalization. The twins are now in the NICU and it's been more than 1 month since they were born. We go to the hospital every day to be with them, hold them and nurture them. I've never felt so powerless yet they are everything that give me strength.
