Today I benched this guy 4x12. The app suggests they my 1 max rep is almost my body weight (64 kg). π³ Should I try a PR 1 rep? Never done a single max rep, always inside series.

If you are confident enough, go for it. If not, you should have a spotter for bench PR imo

actually I have the safety bars at the height that will prevent me to suffocate under the bar, so it should be safe to test. but I don't know if I want to know if I'm able to. failing it will be bad for morale.

I get that. I rearly ever go for 1RM, i just dont see the point, unless its a deadlift. But i was happy af when i broke my 100kg bench for the first time, even tho i failed many time before.
