Running

What a story!!
I meet this couple most of the time I go out running. They always walk together no matter the weather (met them in winter and now with 30+ degrees C)

Today I stopped by to introduce myself and get to know them better. 

He is 88 and she is 85 😱

He still drive a car. She is brilliant, was joking about her age and surname. They never stopped doing sports. They once were amateur cross country skiers. 

I want to be like them when I’m old. 

“Mens sana in corpore sano”

I was vibing all the time talking to them. They transmit the joy of living. I smiled for 8 km going back home.

They greeted me with: “never stop doing what you are doing”. 

If this does not transmit you the motivation to ignite the discipline to workout, I don’t know what would do it.

So awesome. I run past this older lady every morning I stopped a couple months back and introduced myself and now whenever I pass her I say good morning Debbie.

A bond the new generation will never understand
