Is it too early to start bitching about the new rewards algo

IMO this isn’t the kind of funnel that is gonna help uplift the community. 

It’s gonna become more segregated and the fact that I continually see the same folks in those top positions 

AND what’s gonna stop them from gaming in different ways and utilizing the tools here to stay up there, even if it’s engagement baiting from “contests” or “promising airdrops” or utilizing their network - yes weighted replies from some are still a thing for sure.

There are ways for those with this power (I totally want to be one of them) to stay on top of pushing the rest of us down. 

It really should be more of an even distribution, especially when it comes to the lower levels than having it be so top-heavy.

Are you saying you want to be in this position while claiming users on top are pushing everyone else down? 

Would you be willing for the system to change as you are suggesting above if you were already in the top 3 - 10? 

I am very, very, very confused

Yeah, it’s definitely strange with the top users thing, but honestly, I don’t think we’re the only ones who’ve noticed it. I think even if it needs a solid improvement now, I trust that the improvement will come.

I’m saying many of us would love to be at the top myself included

The folxs in the top 1 to 10 and historically 1 to 30 on a typical week are always the same folxs that seem to always be in those spots. 

It would be nice if they spread more funds around vs piling them at the top few positions. 

I would still like more people to get rewards even if I was in those top spots. Yet that is speculation since I was never there. My one week I got to top 30 I tipped out for the first time even though I’m still struggling to pay for speaking at NFTNYC since I was lucky enough to get something significant to give back.
