Met some bitcoiners a few weeks ago and honestly talking to them was kind of sad. They're really excited about these upgrades but they are maybe 7 years old at this point, and they're still slinging shit to get any of them actually added to the core protocol.

That used to be me… I really never understood the point of smart contracts, and thought having Turing Complete money was not going to end well. But eventually I decided to deep dive and I can’t believe I slept on it for so long. Now Bitcoin just looks like that stick figure do something meme

Sadly, I was one of the lucky 30% who were let go about 3 weeks ago 🥲, but even though I’ve got no ties, they’re definitely going to make it!
