As a civilisation we have come far,
We put men on the Moon and a bot on Mars.
But then came ol’ Trump,
With tariffs that thump,
And jobs vanished faster than self-driving cars.
Now wars pop up like ads on a site,
Each one claiming freedom with all of their might.
We scroll while they bomb,
Doomscrolling feels calm
“World War Three?” shrug Just another night.
AI took our jobs, said “You’re done,”
Then made art, wrote books, even out-punned.
While robots grew wise,
We ate microwaved fries,
And ranked dog memes to see which one won.
Unemployment soared like inflation’s new game,
As billionaires bought yachts no two waves the same.
We prayed for reprieve,
But just got more Steve
Three clones of him running for president came.
By now, our best hope for the human race,
Is a film where a guy finds the dumbest place.
And folks start to cheer
“Hey, this future’s clear!
