The protocol is still young, I wouldn't discourage anyone from building things and sharing things on it. If we can't realistically accommodate embeds with the current amount of DAUs, then we wouldn't be able to handle real scale IMO.

No. The only reason to force 1-2 photos and threads is to get benefits metric wise. But end users don't want to have to screw around with dozens of posts to see a few images. It should basically replicate Instagram and Twitter/X functionality.
