And then I realize, this is an electric car there is no transmission. There are no gears. Language￼ starts to get out paced by the technology but we still continue to use the words because they describe the reality that we used to live in

I taught my daughter to drive in a Tesla and I would yell at her if she didn’t fully have the car stopped when changing from R to D, but it doesn’t actually matter, you can change directions even if the car isn’t fully stopped
