1. **What is Octant?**  
   Octant is a project under Golem Foundation, created to fund Ethereum public goods using the staking rewards from staking over 100,000 ETH. They've distributed over $7 million to hundreds of projects without touching the principal capital. The goal is to build sustainable funding models and support Ethereum's ecosystem growth. 

2. **What’s up with degens and dragons?**  
   Degen and Dragons is part of Octant's narrative, representing dragons (projects with unused resources) and degens (community members) in the Ethereum ecosystem. It's a storytelling initiative about financial opportunities and prosperity. There's a collectible card game aspect, with art and writing contests planned for the future.
