I disagree w the premise that "content is valueless"

that may be true in web2, bc centralization prevents credible value consensus, but it doesn't have to be the case in web3

we just need to develop better value capture models, instead of relying on web3 models (ie Attention Economy) 

this can actually be our value proposition - in web2 your content has no value beyond how many eyeballs.. get to see the ad next to your content

in web3 your contribution is valued based on its impact on the community/network

what's the first thing  you think about when you hear the word "content"?

shitposting? memes? slop?

the thing is that "content" is also scientific research. it's also journalism, and books

these things are not "valueless"

they just lost a lot of their value in the Attention Economy, where the key to monetization is attention creation - not value creation

this is what web3 can change

(and it won't come from attention-based mechanisms)

when a piece of “content” has palpable value, people usually care to give it a more specific name
