Wrapped up Season 1 of Mr. Robot which was OK, Fight Club for programmers, mostly just background TV while I do other things. 3 Episodes in on season 2 and it's fallen off a cliff. Unwatchable. Does it get better or should I move on?

Yeah, i thought the single shot execution was exceptional. Incredible performances by the actors. The message though, not sold.

Agree on both those. What did you see as the message? (One dimensional manosphere stuff?)

I thought it was as politicized about that as it could have been. 

For me the show was more about how does the nature of a “monster” get cultivated, in general. It was shocking to see a monster revealed in a boy who looked innocent. 

What can make someone’s nature open to overwhelming rage? That’s the question the story raised for me. (I think the answer for me had to do with a deep anger at the world “owing” you something, combined with a deep desire for power)
