Once deeply integrated with @baseapp.base.eth, the God-tier catalyst, @zora’s flywheel began spinning rapidly. $ZORA’s successive ATHs and the surge of rising creator coins are just one outward expression of its underlying momentum.
if you understand Base, you'll see how Zora perfectly aligns with its vision to "bring the world onchain". By enabling anyone to easily create content, create coins, and participate in trading, Zora natively monetizes attention and content, bringing creation, commerce, and social interaction fully onchain.
That alignment is likely one of the key reasons TBA, and the entire Base ecosystem, has embraced Zora as a foundational piece. Looking forward to seeing more sparks and chemistry unfold across everything happening on TBA. 👀 3 replies

You can sense that @baseapp.base.eth is gaining mainstream traction. Its brand revamp and "everything app" approach, integrating payments, social networking, messaging, miniapps, and more, may have a bigger impact than expected. I’ve already seen non-crypto users, even in China, like financial and tech medias, designers and product managers, start discussing it on social media.
This highlights Base App’s potential to onboard more users onchain, aligning with its vision of "bringing the world onchain", including enabling more non-crypto users to experience crypto-native products, ideally even without realizing they’re interacting with blockchain, simply enjoy features that offer more convenience and greater economic freedom.
It may explain why, after the A New Day One event, many sold the news and dumped related tokens, but those tokens are rebounding now, especially with $ZORA hitting a new ATH. it's still in the testing phase, and more users, creators, and builders are just starting to notice and join in. The future is only just beginning. 2 replies

Tokenizing social media content has become a trend recently. Around the same time, the @baseapp.base.eth integrated with Farcaster and let users launch a content coin on @zora when casting, while Trends.fun on Solana began allowing users to launch a token for any X Twitter post.
The main difference: on Base App, creators launch both the content and the coin at the same time, so only they earn from trading fees. On Trends.fun, anyone can launch a coin for any post, both the “Trendor” (token curator) and the original creator can earn rewards.
we konw that there have been many tokenized content experiments before, not just for social media posts, but also for articles, music, and more. But it’s really tough thing. Snipers often extract quick profits, users tire of pump and dump cycles, and the creator economy finally becomes pure speculation game.
The challenge is how to meaningfully price popular content through tokens, in a way that reflects attention and mindshare, and enables fans to show support, allows creators to earn, all within a sustainable, organically functioning system, not just another short-lived hype cycle. Time will answer these experiments. 3 replies

I can already feel @baseapp.base.eth becoming an everything app, you can "post, earn, trade, chat, and connect..." all in one place.
It reminds me of a Web2 question: why did super apps/everything apps like WeChat, combining social, payments, and "mini-programs", thrive in China but not in the West?
One reason imo, in China, people generally trust big platforms and government regulation, so they’re more willing to hand over their data and money to an all-in-one ecosystem. In contrast, Western users are more privacy-conscious, governments have fragmented regulations, and there’s more skepticism toward centralized tech giants.
But in the Web3 era, the decentralized and open nature of crypto protocols and apps makes it possible to permissionlessly and trustlessly assemble an open, onchain version of an everything app.
Base App doesn’t need to build everything itself, social media feeds and diverse miniapps come from @farcaster, content coins use @zora, chat uses @xmtp, dApps already exist, and even swaps are done through third-party aggregators. At the same time, it doesn’t become a monopoly or centralized giant. Any team can build a similar app, so the real competition is all about user experience.
I’m optimistic that Base App will continue polishing the details and become an even better onchain everything app, more open than Web2 predecessors, enabling greater economic freedom while offering a great consumer experience. 6 replies
