insane that ruburi also made a leaving post earlier when tonight at work I’d decided on the same, albeit for different yet similar reasons.
vibes are off and this place no longer feels like home to me.
it feels like a toxic cesspool à la twitter.
infighting instead of collaborating because we refuse to set aside our egos.
complaining about who got or didn’t get grants.
complaining about anything really (yeah I’m one to talk).
that’s what finally pushed me away.
i loved this place and probably used it too much as a public journal.
and on that note, no, i never got it together. in fact, things have gotten much worse since we last spoke. I’ll spare you the details this time.
so on that note I’m going offline and offchain for the foreseeable future to try and fix ~ a l l t h i s ~

I read this a couple of days ago, but let it sit for a while.
I didn't want to press like, because it's always weird liking a sad cast.
But I saw you today liking Jacek's post so I guess this means you're still lurking which is good in my books 😁
But I think everyone needs a SNS break every once in a while... sometimes it just gets too much of loses its luster.

i'd like to think i am a culprit here since i wrote a bigass cast on how i felt about the grant. and i would change nothing. greater good and comfort is the top priority.

You’ll be missed!!! but I never get upset at people for taking breaks. On the contrary, probably one of the healthier things to do these days is forced technology fasts.
