Chapelle’s SNL monologue is a masterclass in stand-up to a wide audience. Relevant, relatable, witty, and, of course, funny.
Great how he brought the message back to the heart at the end without getting too preachy…

Watching the Golden Globes and just realized the only category for which I’ve seen all the nominees is the standup comedy category. Do with that what you will.
(And agree with Ali Wong as the winner — I was crying I was laughing so hard watching her Netflix special but it helps if you’re also divorced & dating lol. Seth Meyers on Max was a close second.)

Reminds me, I've been trying curry more.
So I just retired from the military after 20 years, and let me tell you, transitioning to civilian life is... an adventure. I figured, hey, now’s the time to try new things, right? So what do I do? I get a job at an Indian restaurant. Because clearly, after years of the military, naan-making was the logical next step.
This place had amazing naan—like, life-changing. Naturally, I wanted the recipe (for my wife 😉). I thought, ‘How hard can it be to snag a little intel? Might as well put the government training to good use
The owner? Bro was sharp. Before I even got close to the recipe, he made me sign a contract. Yeah, a naan-disclosure agreement.

So now I’m stuck. I can’t share the recipe, and I’m haunted by the memory of that perfect naan. But hey, at least I learned something: in the civilian world, secrets aren’t classified—they’re baked.
