最近在看一本书，叫《从莎草纸到互联网》，副标题是“社交媒体2000年”。 其中大概讲述了社交媒体的演变史，诸如作者认为17世界的咖啡馆，很像如今的社交网络，人们其中交流、传递信息与发表观点。此外，当年的咖啡馆也跟如今的社交网络也一样，面临有些人认为它会分散人们工作、学习的注意力的指责。 我觉得这本书挺适合搞web3社交的人一读，随手摘录几条其中的内容在这里。 1、与此同时，保留诗文杂集和摘记簿，并与他人交换所抄的诗文，这也是一种自我定位的方式：一个人选择抄录或转给别人哪些诗歌或格言很能说明他是什么样的人，摘记簿就是其主人的特点和个性的表现。……那时和现在一样，人们喜欢通过编集和分享别人创造的东西来表明自己的兴趣，确立自己的特性。换言之，分享某些东西这种行为本身就是自我表现的一种形式。 2、...

In the Pseudonymous Economy, we can create wealth based solely on reputation. In the real world, we usually consider assets like money or real estate. However, reputation, knowledge, and contacts are also valuable assets. In the crypto world and the pseudonymous economy, these assets provide measurable yields. Just like a friend giving you advice or your knowledge offering new insights, these are new kinds of yields. They're real, they compound over time, and they're not taxable. This is the type of legacy I want to create and pass on to my children.
