Finally. I don’t think the FDA has updates sunscreen regulations since I’ve been alive. We are decades behind the rest of the world. https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-proposes-expanding-sunscreen-active-ingredient-list

what products do you use for moisurizing your face? has anyone tried beef tallow? thiking about getting the one on the picture. I never used any product ony my skin, but want to get one for sauna sessions. Since I try avoid using chemicals in anything, beef tallow seems to be a perfect solution. and people used it historically so should be good

skincare is the exact same as working out it’s gonna take like minimum 2 years of consistent habits if you’ve never done anything and have things you need to fix. imo you need to show up every day to make big transformations over a long period of time

highlighting a /skincare news item today pls consider subscribing directly if you'd like optimistic and credible healthtech updates you won’t find in most popular news outlets, from sources scientists and healthcare providers read and trust. Good news: A simple face serum with four well-known ingredients (ergothioneine, vitamin E derivative, decarboxy-carnosine, and naringin) lightened dark spots and reduced skin “yellowing” in a small human trial—things people can buy today could be blended into real products fast. Dual-targeting antioxidant and anti-glycation strategy inhibits melanogenesis through clinical and mechanistic study Market readiness: 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂 (cosmetic-grade ingredients already exist; no drug approval needed for a U.S. cosmetic product) https://reframedaily.beehiiv.com/p/reframe-daily-new-antibody-antioxidant-serum-and-heart-repair-target-emerge

Sharing my skincare routine because why not. morning routine (which tbh I don’t really do everyday, I used to be consistent with it but now I’m a lazy bish with morning skincare) anyhow- -Cerave blemish control -Garnier vitamin C serum -Snail slime serum (bioteca italiana is a very nice Italian brand I’ve discover recently and I’m testing it now- kinda nice ngl) -And ultimately BHA+ Niacinamide with spf 50+ to protect my mermaid skin from the sun. Evening routine -Cerave blemish control (I use the same morning and evening because I’ve tested it and works great on my skin type) - hyaluronic acid (use the bioteca italiana one now, which is great, but I’ve tested many others) - retinol by L’Oréal (actually finishing this off because I’ve bought a new one from Meisani but I didn’t try it yet) And then garnier lavender night cream (obsessed) Honestly, I’ve tried also more products through the years and all but keeping my skincare simple and demure is just the best option both for the time I consume, the money and ultimately my skin too. I feel that using not many products but the right ones it’s just the best gorgness. How about yours? Do you have a skincare routine?

Started a new skincare routine that goes from washing my face to vitamin c serum to daycream to sunscreen , repeat minus night cream at night ( feels heavy and weird to me ) Exfoliation and Multani mitti + neem face pack twice a week and it’s doing wonders for me ! Also added an under eye cream last night 🤍🥰
